I obviously need to get hold of this chapter and read it, because as a native NYER myself I have no clue what this expression could be. Carp themselves I am all too familiar with; my grandmother used to have a live one swimming in the bathtub each year, waiting to be killed and prepared for Rosh HaShana dinner. I never *could* work up much enthusiam for this course, especially after I got to watch the killing and cleaning.
So could someone send me a copy ?
