I've heard the same thing

Posted by Deborah on 10/7/2005, 10:38:18, in reply to "More Things SEALdom: How others view them"
from Ben regarding SEALs being 'color blind'. He said one of the things he loved about the teams is that a man is judged by what he can do, not what he looks like or how much money he has or his connections. If you're a good operator, you're accepted. Period. He's also sexual orientation blind, and in many ways gender blind (although he doesn't agree with the idea of women in the Teams), he welcoms them in any other field or working along side on projects etc.

I've never heard a SEAL make a racial comment (if that's of any help)... although they have plenty to say about Flag Hags and other branches of the service.
