All you can do it try to make your small corner (your house on your street) of the world right for you and hope your neighbor does the same and you can co-exist relatively peacefully.
But I do shake my head reading about the childish antics of world leaders. Imagine if our children behaved like they do sometimes. They'd spend DAYS in time-out :)
