People tend to look at the military through rose tinted glasses to some extent. Then reality happens and they don't conform to our expectations.You will also no doubt have had spouses of service personnel who headed straight out looking for "fun" when their partners were deployed. It happens in the military all the time quite why these people get married is another question.Do I have to like a person to read their book then the answer is no.
By the way I am in no way condoning his behaviour my ex cheated on me which is why he is my ex.No I wasn't one of those women wh headed off looking for men when her husband was deployed I was too busy raising three sons!!!!
