I believe "Patches" Watson worked with Dick Marcinko. I also believe he's heavily involved with the UDT/SEAL museum.
Don't forget, the reality is these guys are more comfortable in jungle camouflage than dress whites ...or should I say, a ghillie suit versus and ice cream suit.
