I can sleep through most things... the kids make the slightest noises (cough etc) I wake up instantly. I find it funny that I can distinguish in my sleep whether or not they need me.
Ed, just sleeps, but the slightest sound outside - vehicle, he's up looking out the windows. But he knows if they were on farm or on the road.
Strange.
