Well, I love Jazz, too, and sure do believe it's got to be his time soon! However, do you think we need to know more about him *emotionally* before we see him as a hero in a book? I mean, he's strong, steady, loyal, and really cool, but he's never let us see any inside thoughts and we haven't seen a POV from him yet...
...Wait, oh, no, that's true for Jenk, too! Sigh...2007 is SOOOO far off! Still, I love liking an author's work so much that it can inspire such loyalty and debate from us!!!
