Private schools....

still use testing for their own purposes, but they don't depend on testing for funding. Private schools are privately funded, so they are not having to meet goals for govt funding.

I think they use it more as a way of showing parents and potential parents of students how their school compares to publicly funded schools.

I went to private school through high school and we always had the same or similar standardized testing as the public schools.
