My son who has worked with US troops in Iraq and Kosovo said that when ever he has ever eaten in one of your mess halls the were screens up showing film/programmes with the President, Donald Rumsfeld etc. Is that the norm ?or is it just a coincidence? When I asked him if the British cookhouse ever ran programmes like that with Tony Blair and our government ministers for them he looked horror struck and just said no MUM we have Sky Sports and the BBC News on as we don't want anything to interrrupt the footie (soccer) matches.

As an interesting aside Soccer AM has this wonderful bit in it where service personnel serving all over the world send in photos of themselves stating which footie team they support and they get a cammo football sent to them commerating their service to the country. It is one of the most popular segment of the programme.
