A thought about this....

If I hadn't had so many discussions with my husband and family about these subjects, I would have been completely in the dark. I struggled with a lot of the discussion, too. I have trouble remembering details, so I consulted my husband. Then I added those details to the concepts that I've come to believe over the years.

One thing to remember when you can't seem to come up with an answer is this:

We learn precept on precept. If someone you know started a conversation about the things we've been discussing, you would be much more prepared to take part now than you were a week ago.

We learn by listening to different points of view, and then selecting the parts that make sense to us as individuals, adding those parts together to form our own belief system. That's why I loved philosophy. It was fascinating to learn so many points of view, and then decide what I believed.

We just need to keep adding to our files of knowledge. It's not a matter of "common" folk, it's a matter of "still adding to my collection of awareness and understanding."

I'm confident that there are several subjects we could attempt to discuss in which you would kick my a$$!
