I can't disagree with anything you said. In fact, I think you said it very well. (Keep in mind that this is another tired person who's not sure if all her guns are firing right now.)
So I agree that we have to start now, but also plan for the future. Or maybe that should be an "and" instead of a "but".
And I think the key is to figure out the driving force behind our convictions. What would be even better is if we knew how to help others learn what drives THEM.
