Temporary Archive: Suzanne Brockmann's Message Board

I grew up on the east side of Washington state but after roaming around for a bit I moved to Seattle in the summer of 74. Apartments were cheep and some jobs were plentiful. I remember LOTS of housing developements that stood empty and you coulnd't give away your house the exidus was so great.

My dh is from the south and while he was in the Navy in the 60's his parents moved out to Seattle so after a few years of his roaming around he moved up here to be closer to his parents and in the interm we met and married. At one point he wanted us to move back to Tennessee and told him that I didn't THINK SO.... and I've had 30 years to turn him into a Yankee but it hasn't worked. LOL I know what you mean by the "Dam Yankee" statement...
