I learned that long before my Latin classes.
Though I'd bet I'm the only one here who memorized irregular verbs by pairing them with calisthenics (Latin teacher was married to the gym teacher.) You have to imagine a bunch of students doing upper body exercises while chanting "IS. EA. ID", etc. It really makes them stick; though much of my Latin is gone, I can still conjugate those verbs.
