I think Suz appeals to thinkers

WHEN (not if) you read one of her books... her heroes and heroines are thinkers. They care, they want to do the right thing. They understand that the world is not black and white. Right/wrong. Good/evil.

I wasn't a romance reader until I stumbled onto Suzanne.

But I will admit one thing -- sometimes it is nice to read a book that you KNOW will have a happy ending. Even though good people may suffer terribly through the book, they will prevail. So maybe that is a cop-out or maybe it is just a way to relax. Especially since I don't watch TV except for Jim Lehrer and don't drink alcohol. Gotta do something to escape. Besides chocolate, of course.... ;)
