I mentioned in an earlier post about volunteering for Red Cross I think 2wks ago. I didn't get a call back from them til last Sunday. The girl that called me back was rude but I ignored her rudeness figuring they were busy. So she took my info down and just basically said they'll call if they need me. It is now today and I never heard back so I decided to go and see how I could become a volunteer anyways on my own. Wow its like applying for a job. I have to fill out a 3 page application and wait for them to call me for an interview and then if they like me I can go ahead and join orientation. Its worth it to me but I was just wondering if all volunteer organizations make you do all this?
