Did you ever use the movie 'Twelve O'Clock High' in your training?

I think when I saw it once on TCM the presenter said that it was used as a training tool for officers. Gregory Peck is excellent as General Frank Savage in it. It's one of my all time favorite movies, along with Mrs. Miniver.

Have always loved old WWII movies, my mom thought it unnatural. But the old television show 'Combat' starring Vic Morrow, was father/daughter bonding time, my dad and I always watched it together. My dad was WWII Marine who served in the Pacific, used to always yell at Sgt. Saunders to tell his men to spread out more that they were too bunched up, one grenade would take out the whole platoon.(Sorry, tripping down memory lane there)
