I don't think you are FOS. I do believe that some women have a lesser view of themselves, probably because I'm one of them. It's very easy for women to have a lousy self worth, to think that she's stupid; un-important; a lesser person who makes no real contribution to life at all, and even if they have people that tell them they are wrong, until they believe it themselves it doesn't matter, especially when everyday situations in life continually reinforce their beliefs. I applaud you for being a man who hates self-belittlement, and who tries to discourage it. My DH is the same way, when he hears me say that I'm stupid or I don't matter or I'm a loser, he hates it and tells me so. Women would have a much better time of it, if there were more people like you out there.
