GMA had an interesting piece on this, this morning 9/9/05. Showed a gentleman in the Garden District, the Beverly Hills of NO who had generators and a very well stocked home. He also had allot of weapons and said on camera that anyone trying to come in and take him out of his home, he would kill. He was an attorney, didn't think he should be made to leave his lovely home and was ready to protect himself and his home. On the other side of the Garden District, in the Projects people were still waiting for someone to come and evacuate them. ABC GMA camera crew interviewed them, just like the man in the Garden District. The Housing Projects were in deep standing water and the authorities had yet to get everyone out, and not because they did not want to leave.
