Dave is my brother (and one of my best friends). He is not in law enforcement (though he did get his degree in criminal justice). He has done some security work, but is now a teacher (History and Elementary Ed)and works part time at the gun range. He is mostly interested in 2nd Amendment Rights and Law Enforcement History.
As far as the "not always the case"...it happens alot, and not just with the 2nd Amendment. :)
