Reintegrating is a problem in numerous households that are not military. Mine for example..My husband is currently working 1030pm-1100am,6 days/week. So the kids and I see him about 1 hour/day. Starting in a few weeks he will be 400am-400pm, 6 days/week. This means that he will be around much more at night than any of us are used to! Huge adjustment for all of us!
Our 2.5 year old has a horrible time with all of this! When Brian has a day off Braeden wants nothing to do with him but then cries the next morning b/c Daddy isn't there!
Yes, I know this is very different from being in the military but the reintegration concept is still the same! I am used to doing housework, bills, childcare, etc. by myself and it drives me crazy when he has a day off b/c he moves things! LOL!
So now that you all know I am an idiot...I am going to go back to my mundane life in my hotter than he!! office!
