for the ENlisted, Pro for the Officers. WIthout stating the obvious too obviously, war is stressfull. That is why we do 6 month deployments and then get the guys out and back into the workup cycle. But the Officer's have to grow professioanlly witht the rest of the military, so even though it might be suck duty, it is important for developing Os to see how major staffs operate, how a major campaign is put together, what the real concerns of the brass are.
