Your career as an Officer may look like this:
* As a college graduate, you begin your career as an Ensign.
* After two years you may be eligible for promotion to Lieutenant Junior Grade.
* Serve another two years and you may be eligible for promotion to Lieutenant.
* After nine to eleven years of service, you may be eligible for promotion to Lieutenant Commander.
* After 15 to 17 years of service, you may be eligible for promotion to Commander.
* After 21 to 23 years of service, you may be eligible for promotion to Captain.
