Another way to look at it

Another way to look at it is that we are very passionate here on the board because we care.We hurt when we see suffering in the world wherever it might be.It also feels to many on the board a place where they are among friends and can let rip sometime.

My sister and I have had some big bust ups in the past but we love each other dearly and are always there for each other. I somethimes think that is what this board is like you know a sisterhood (Tom you can be an honorary sister!!!) where we may always not agree but we are passionate because we care.

Now the ones I do not have any truck with are the trolls I mean would you put up with opening your front door have someone come into your house slag you off and then tell you you have no right to express your opinion in your own home, and then say but I have every right to come back and repeat the whole thing again. No I dont think so.Funny they always make sure they don't leave their e mail addies.

My closest friend Zoe and I totally disagree on the Troubles in Ireland and we have both at meetings we have attended spoken against each others view passionately, but we respect each others right to hold that view and I think our friendship is the stronger for all that.

So to all of you out there a big cyber hug from over here in the UK because I know from all the posts that we have all been doing our little bit to help those affected by Katrina whether it is with money, time, prayers.

Hugs

Maureen
