See here's the problem....re your line: "his opinion needed to be checked"...
why? because your opinion is more correct? according to whom? Or his opinion should reflect your life experience? The it would not be his opinion.
And your opinion would have been "an opinion" instead of an attack, had you managed it sans the racist remarks, which you did not- therefore I need no other information I about your character.
oh and heres a news flash, I'm not defending Tom -I quite certain he's fully capable of managing that all on his own -
