What can I say it all made perfect sense to me.
Of course you will always see British guys standing in the street smoking a fag. I e mailed something of the sort to a US sailor who I was supporting when the Iraq war was just starting. He nearly had a heart attack when he read it until I explained it means to smoke a cigarrette. He then emailed me with what it meant in his part of California yikes!!!!
Mind you those who attended Seal camp will remember I was always losing my bum bag which the lovely Alyssa would call a Fanny Pack. Just do not say Fanny in the UK it is not considered polite!!!!!
